I've hiked with Dennis on many occasions over the past several years and really enjoyed hearing his stories again on your podcasts (34 and 35). It's great that you've made it possible for him to share his vast hiking experience and expertise with yet another audience. Dennis is an amazing source of information for local hikers and I can't imagine anyone putting more time and effort into a high-quality web site than he has put into nwhiker.com. The same goes for the CDs that he has produced.

Dennis had me on the edge of my seat at the end of that podcast! I had a similar experience in that same place, not near as harrowing however. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's continuation.

Hi Alex, I'm Dennis Stilwell's hiking buddy. Great interview. Dennis is a real gold-mine for people living in the Portland area. Maybe we can all go hiking sometime. Dennis is a real talker, which is one of the reasons I enjoy his company. Terry
